The Grosvenor Arms - Shaftesbury

This Georgian building is in Shaftesbury town centre. It is now a stylish hotel with free Wi-Fi and large rooms with luxury beds, flat-screen TVs, and coffee machines.

The Grosvenor Arms maintains original features combined with modern décor. Its individually decorated rooms have an en suite bathroom, some with separate showers and roll-top baths.

There is a bar with open fireplace, as well as a courtyard terrace. The Grosvenor Arms stylish restaurant serves breakfast every day. A modern menu is also available for dinner service from Monday to Saturday. Guests will also enjoy alfresco dining or enjoy pizza cooked by the wood-burning oven.

Located just 2 minutes walk from Shaftesbury Abbey, the hotel is a short stroll from many restaurants and shops.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that only the large rooms can accommodate an extra bed. Any type of extra bed or cot is subject to request and needs to be confirmed by management.

Kindly note some accommodation is located on the second floor, and is accessible via stairs only. Therefore it may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment.

Group bookings of 3-5 rooms have a cancellation policy of 14 days. This rule is also applied to individual bookings of 5 nights or more. Group bookings of 6+ rooms must be cancelled outside of 28 days to avoid a cancellation charge. Full payment is required 14 days28 days prior for the above bookings.

Standard Double Room. An en suite bathroom and a flat-screen TV feature in this room. Kindly note this room cannot accommodate extra beds. Please note that some of our Standard rooms are on the second floor of the hotelthere is no lift access. Please advise our receptionist in advance if you would prefer a room on the first floor with lift access. ;
Premium Double Room. This spacious room comes with a TV and a contemporary en-suite bathroom. Some rooms overlook the courtyard. These rooms are subject to availability. An extra bed can be accommodated upon request, at a surcharge. Please note that some of our Premium rooms are on the second floor of the hotelthere is no lift access. Please advise our receptionist in advance if you would prefer a room on the first floor with lift access. ;
Junior Suite. Located on the second floor, these spacious suites have an en suite bathroom with a TV, a roll-top bath and a separate shower. There are 2 suites available: one overlooks the courtyard and has its own balcony, the other one overlooks the High Street. An extra bed can be accommodated upon request, at a surcharge. Kindly note the accommodation is located on the second floor, and is accessible via stairs only. Therefore it may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment. ;
Superior Suite (Cranborne Chase). These spacious suite is on the first floor and has an en suite bathroom, and a TV.
