Rowardennan Youth Hostel - Rowardennan

Situated on the banks of Loch Lomond, Rowardennan Youth Hostel features a self-catering kitchen, dining room and offers a menu with meals, snacks and drinks. The hostel is within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park,guests can enjoy hiking, climbing and watersports.

A vanity unit with sink and mirror are provided in each room at Rowardennan Hostel, and many come with views over the loch or forest. Guests can also relax in the communal lounge which features picturesque views across Loch Lomond.

Boat cruises can be taken directly from the hostel’s jetty, and free private parking is provided on site. Guests can wakeboard along Loch Lomond, with the facilities just 15 minutes’ walk from the hostel.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 10:00.

All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. Full existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund.

Individual reservations up to 9 people can be cancelled free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If cancelled within the 3 days before the arrival, 100% of the total price will be charged.

When booking for 10 people or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply. For stays of more than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost, for stays of 8–4 weeks (56–29 days) 55% of total cost, and for stays of 4–0 weeks (28–0 day) 100% of total cost.

Should guests be entitled to a refund or partial refund, please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of the cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.

Please note that guests aged 12–15 years old are not allowed in shared dormitories without a parent or guardian of the same gender.

Guests travelling with children must inform the property at the time of booking.

Guests arriving outside check-in hours are advised to contact the property before their stay to arrange their check-in.

For stays of more than one night, access during the day is available after check-in using a security code at reception. The main lounge is accessible to new arrivals prior to check-in.

The propertys reception opening hours are from 08:00 to 10:00, and from 16:00 to 22:00.Please note that the full amount of the reservation is due before arrival. will send a confirmation with detailed payment information. After full payment is taken, the propertys details, including the address andto collect keys, will be emailed to you.
